Tower Legends is Saradoc's first game, built solo with Phaser in their spare time. The enemies here don't just walk in a line and die: several buff each other as they advance, some attack your towers directly, and bosses decide for themselves whether to tear down your setup or make a break for your base.
"What I like about Phaser is the scene system and all spritesheets utilities. This helped me focus more on game mechanics, balance ,and feel."
Four Tower Classes and Real Tactical Choices
Four tower classes, Arrow, FireBolt, ChillShard and SparkShot, each with their own damage type and effects. You can also switch targeting priority mid-fight, between Closest, Weakest, Strongest or First, depending on what a wave needs. The world map runs across 100 levels and four biomes, with a boss fight and dedicated boss AI every fifth level.
There's a fair amount of progression to sink into: XP and player levelling, a skill tree split into five categories (Global, Arrow, Fire, Lightning, Ice), and longer-term achievements. Before each level starts, you get a preview of the enemy roster and their buffs, and you can reroll those buffs if you want, though it costs you some XP for that level.
