LSDE is a dedicated dialogue editor and localization tool built by LEPASOFT, with Phaser as one of eleven supported engines and frameworks. Your market doesn't stop at your language. LSDE composes your scenes, translates them, generates voices and detects inconsistencies, while keeping you in control of the project throughout.
Composing, Translating and Voicing Dialogue in One Tool
Translating a project scene by scene takes months. LSDE instead sends your lines in batches to an LLM of your choice, complete with context and metadata, and shows a before/after diff on each translated line so nothing slips through unreviewed. It supports Claude, GPT, Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek and Ollama, and handles plurals, gender and variables through subkeys.
Voice generation works the same character across every language: pick a voice, and LSDE can produce the same line in French, English, Japanese or whatever languages your project needs, keeping the character's tone consistent throughout.
Six Tools, One Workflow
LSDE organises its features into six tabs: Translation, Blueprints, AI Agents, Codebase, Voice and Diagnostic.
Blueprints lets you compose scenes without leaving the keyboard: Dialog, Choice, Condition and Action blocks chain together, with drag-and-drop, a minimap, undo/redo and alignment guides, then export to your engine of choice.
AI Agents brings MCP support into the workflow: Claude, Copilot or another agent can read and modify your scenes directly, in natural language, without leaving your IDE. LLM tasks and rules are customisable, with fine-tuning included.
Codebase scans your sources and shows exactly where each translation key is used, flagging orphaned keys and missing translations before they surface in production. Voice generates multilingual narration from a single voice profile per character, with adjustable filters, emotional nuances and post-filter scripts. Diagnostic cross-checks tokens across all your languages and includes a language-specific spell checker, catching inconsistencies before your build ships.

LSDE v2: A Major Overhaul
LSDE just shipped v2, described by LEPASOFT as a major overhaul of the LSDE stack. Highlights include:
- ~10x faster performance, with native bytecode and PixiJS WebGL/WebGPU as the only dependency
- Complete UX/UI overhaul, with documentation optimised for narrative designers and developers
- Automatic migration with full backward compatibility for v1 projects
- New audio system and lip-sync
- Full MCP support, with a free LLM fallback or bring-your-own-key iteration
- GDevelop support added
- New Router block for the Scene editor
Trial versions have been reset for anyone who wants to try v2 from scratch.
Who LSDE Is Built For
For game developers, the value is straightforward: no matter how good the art is, a game nobody understands doesn't sell. LSDE handles localisation, dubbing and keeping narrative consistency intact across languages. It also works for web and software developers dealing with i18n more broadly, centralising translation keys and letting an LLM handle redundancy while the reviewed code comes back to the developer.
LSDE offers a 21-day free trial with full and unlimited access, no information required. Paid plans run from a one-time €75 Essential license up to a €205 Professional license, with volume pricing for Enterprise and Education.
