Critical Ward is an arcade survival game built with Phaser by BiEsEl. You run a hospital shift that starts manageable and spirals fast: treat patients, chain combos, and deploy automated medical equipment while contagious patients, disruptive relatives and random events try to wreck your run. The catch is that getting stronger also makes things harder to control. A build that's working well is one bad moment away from falling apart.

Pick a Specialist, Break the Rules of the Run

Each playable character leans into a different approach: healing, speed, crowd control, tech-focused builds. Every one changes what a run actually looks like. Progression is old-school: no microtransactions, no shortcuts, just unlocking new characters and options by playing and clearing their challenges.

The combo system is where things escalate fast. Keep a streak alive and bonuses stack on top of each other until the screen is full of turrets, prototypes and chained effects. It looks glorious right up until one mistake wipes the whole thing out.
