Siege Breaker is a free browser-based brick breaker game built with Phaser 3 by Permidis, submitted to the Z01 game jam. It takes the classic brick breaker formula and gives it a fantasy pixel art makeover, adding a powerup system that drops collectibles from destroyed blocks to keep each level unpredictable.
How to Play Siege Breaker
Move the paddle using the arrow keys or mouse, and launch the ball with a click or spacebar. The goal is to destroy all the blocks on screen before losing your three lives. You lose a life when the iron ball hits the bottom.
As you destroy blocks, powerups fall from above. Catching them with your paddle activates special effects that can turn the tide of a level.
Brick Breaker Powerups
Piercing Spear projects a trident upward from the paddle on the next bounce, cutting through blocks in its path. Speed Up increases the speed of all balls on screen. Multiball spawns two additional balls, adding chaos to an already tense situation. Explosion makes the next ball that hits a brick damage all adjacent blocks as well, great for clearing dense formations.

Pixel Art Fantasy Visuals
The game features a lush fantasy forest background with pixel art enemy sprites serving as the blocks to destroy. The visual style gives Siege Breaker a distinct personality that sets it apart from most browser brick breaker games on the market.
