Our Internal game studio (Little Umbrella) is looking for an experienced Game Developer who has a proven track record of building successful games. The candidate should have experience working in small teams, with a portfolio of published games that showcase their skills and expertise. Experience in building complex Phaser based games with a knowledge of networking/Websockets.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Game Director on one game and execute on the game vision
- Build the game from start to finish, including designing game mechanics, programming, and testing
- Collaborate with the team on all aspects of the game development process
- Ensure that the game meets quality standards and is delivered on time.
- Pixel perfection implementation.
- Contribute ideas and go a bit extra to add details that make games fun and exciting.
- Anticipate issues and suggest time-saving solutions wherever possible.
Requirements:
- A portfolio of polished games that showcase your skills and expertise
- Experience building Phaser games
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice-to-haves:
- Previous experience in Tower Defense or Card Battler games.
