Timelio is a peer-to-peer marketplace for invoice finance. So you'd be forgiven for not immediately associating a group of accountants with anything game related. As they prepared for Xerocon, a large cloud accounting conference, they decided to create a game for people at the event to play, and Super Timelio Run was the end result: "Xerocon is a pretty diverse crowd, after all, accountants come in all ages, genders, shapes and sizes. We needed something that would speak to all of them, and that was relevant to what we do.
The solution? Super Mario. Super Mario has existed, in one form or another, for the last 40 years. Everyone has had some form of interaction with him. Old or young, boy or girl, Mario spans generations. The idea behind Super Timelio Run is a custom Mario-style game where you collect coins to fund invoices. Why not? We’d never seen anyone at a conference do this before. It would definitely turn heads."
