Use sweat, fire, force of will, and a well-timed key presses to turn raw material into an authentic blade, in this game based on the TV series.
Forged in Fire is an original competition TV series on the History Channel, hosted by weapons expert and U.S. Army and Air Force veteran Wil Willis, featuring world-class bladesmiths competing to create history’s most iconic edged weapons. They use sweat, fire, force of will, and a well-equipped forge to turn raw material into authentic, fully functional implements of war. These weapons must stand up to a battery of strength and sharpness tests.
The Forgemaster Game was created by the team at NeoPangea, to help promote the show, and plays much like the classic Guitar Hero. As the different colors race towards the blade you must time the key presses (or taps) to match them. Each successful tap helps you forge a more powerful blade.
It's a really fun take on the Guitar Hero concept, with the usual high level of polish you'd expect from a game for such a major brand.
