Mozilla Awards Over Half a Million to Open Source Projects, including Phaser.
I'm pleased to announce that Phaser has been given an award by Mozilla as part of their Open Source Support (MOSS) program. I had already announced this on the Phaser Patreon but Mozilla have recently blogged about it, so I thought it made sense to cover it here too.
"At Mozilla we were born out of, and remain a part of, the open source and free software movement. Through the Mozilla Open Source Support (MOSS) program, we recognize, celebrate, and support open source projects that contribute to our work and to the health of the Internet."
We're pleased to be one of the selected projects, alongside the likes of Webpack and and mod_md. They money we have been awarded will go directly on completing development of Phaser 3. Indeed, the payments from Mozilla are tightly linked to our Phaser 3 milestones, so we have to hit them if we wish to get the award!
You can track development of Phaser 3 in our weekly Dev Logs, or read more about the Mozilla MOSS program and the other recipients below:
