Code Captain has released a free 10 part video based learning course which aims to teach you how to create games in Phaser. It goes through the process of building the game Tap Tap Taxi, and the subjects can be worked through at your own pace.
Topics covered include the basics from project set-up, through to isometric perspective handling, input events, obstacles, finishing touches and optimization.
