3D Magic Effects

Pro packv3.0.0-43D3D VFX

Twelve spell effects for fantasy and RPG games in 3D: auras a character wears, the moment of a teleport or a level-up, and circles and runes on the floor. They read as light rather than dust, and each one is a single call.

3D Magic Effects: a screenshot of its demo
A note about these graphics

Expansion packs don't come with graphics. This screenshot is one way of drawing what the pack does, made for its demo: none of the sprites, tiles or backgrounds in it are in the pack.

That's by design. A pack is a game's logic, mechanics and effects, and it works with whatever art you give it. Some packs draw effects, backdrops or 3D scenes of their own, but none carries a game's sprites.

So the look is yours. Make the art on phaser.io, bring your own, or let your agent draw it in code: the same pack can look like anything.

The pack

vfx3dMagic

function vfx3dMagic(): Pack<{}>

Effect pack vfx3d-magic: registers twelve spell effects (sparkle, aura, portal, heal, rune, shield, teleport, curse, buff, levelUp, summonCircle, holyLight) for game.particles3d.effect(name). Uses only particle:* frames. Requires particles-3d and particle-textures; the registry throws if another pack registered one of the names.

Helpers

VFX3D_MAGIC

const VFX3D_MAGIC: ReadonlyArray<string>

The names this pack registers, in the order its page lists them; game.particles3d.effect(name) takes each.
