Welcome to Issue 17 of Phaser World
Release Candidate 1 of Phaser 2.4.5 went down well and RC2 is now ready and waiting. There's also a special build of Phaser 2.5 that includes Pixi v3 under the hood. See the end of the newsletter for details.
In the newsletter this week are a couple of great games, including the wonderful Run Marco! As usual we've some strong tutorials - the Path Finding one is especially good, and a few plugins to boot.
If you're a Sublime Text user like me, then our lead News item will be of massive interest to you too :)
Until next week, happy coding! And don't forget to drop me a line if you've got any news you'd like featured.

Phaser 2.5 + Pixi v3 Build
Due to numerous requests over the past few months I decided to sit down and experiment merging Pixi v3.0.9 with Phaser, in a new Phaser 2.5 build. This was released onto the forum for testing last week and the results have been mostly positive.
If you want to give this a test then download it from GitHub.
I'd be curious to know how you get on with it. Please leave your comments in this forum thread.
Phaser 2.4.5 Release Candidate 2 is ready for testing and can be downloaded from the GitHub dev branch as usual. You'll find freshly built docs, all of the changes are in the README and new build files too.
Thank you to everyone who sent feedback on RC1. I'm very happy with the results and am looking forward to releasing 2.4.5 next week, and then resuming development on Lazer.
