Phaser 3 Feature Vote

Published on 27th February 2018

Phaser World Issue 116With v3 released we can take a nice long holiday, right?! Yeah... dream on :) The release being out in the wild means we're actually now busier than ever, albeit in a good and slightly less stressed way. Here is what we're currently working on, plus a list of suggestions for future features, because you get to vote on them.https://madmimi.com/p/a022cb

I just wanted to make sure that as Phaser patrons you are aware that Issue 116 of Phaser World was released yesterday. It is a Phaser 3 launch special and includes exclusive tutorials, part 1 of the migration guide and perhaps most importantly of all - the ability for you to vote on what feature you'd like to see added next.

Since the publication of the newsletter we've had several hundred votes and the results are not as clear cut as you may think. There's no out-right winner as of yet - so if you'd like to cast your vote you can do so here and please read the Dev Log in issue 116 for full details.

We continue to work hard on improving Phaser 3. It's great to see the issues come in on GitHub as it both helps us fix bugs but also get a feeling for the sort of things that are tripping devs up. There's a whole lot more to running an open source project than just the code. I'm also pleased that a number of you have started to create games, as I have myself. It's the best possible way to hone and refine Phaser.

We've got a lot of plans for the future, so thank you for your continued support - right now that is what's making it even possible.
