How to book your Phaser support time

Published on 15th January 2019

I just wanted to post details on how to book Phaser support time with me and what this entails. A number of you used this during the past few months, so apologies if you already know about this, but for everyone else here are the details!

What is it?

You can book time to talk to me directly, on either Slack, Discord or the phone, about any aspect of Phaser itself. Topics this can cover include: Asking about a best practise, asking for explanation of how something works, help debugging a piece of code, asking me to sanity check your approach and, if the time allows, asking me to code you an example of something.

What it doesn't include: Support on non-Phaser technology, such as other JS libs (Vue, React, etc) or how to use any of the myriad mobile / desktop app packagers out there (i.e. Cordova, Cocoon) or any of their plugins.

How to book your time

Support time is free for $10+ tiers and offered at a discounted rate for those below. Please use the following links to book a slot. I'm using the service Calendly to manage the booking, so you can pick a date and time to suit you, as well as receive a text notification before the event and it all syncs up with Google calendars.

$1 to $9 backers and all tiers above

15 Mins support ($7.50, 50% discount on non-backer price)
30 Mins support ($15, 50% discount on non-backer price)
60 Mins support ($30, 50% discount on non-backer price)
Half Day support ($125, 30% discount on non-backer price)
Full Day support ($245, 30% discount on non-backer price)

$10 to $59 tier backers

15 Mins support per month for free

$60 to $99 tier backers

30 Mins support per month for free

$100 to $199 tier backers

60 Mins support per month for free

$200 to $399 tier backers

2 x 60 Mins support sessions per month for free

$400+ tier backers

4 x 60 Mins support sessions per month for free

Note: If you're a $60+ backer you can use any of the lower tier links to book shorter slots. For example, if your tier allows 30 mins support per month, you could book this as 2 x 15 minute slots if you wish.

Preparing for the call

Please try to prepare for the chat in advance. If you're going to show me code you're having trouble with, try to get it in as clean a state as possible, or have it running on a URL I can easily access.

I'm afraid that I'm only able to chat in English. I do not know any other languages fluently.

Those of you who have used this service before know that I'm not completely strict on the time. Obviously, I cannot spend all day doing this, or Phaser would never get worked on! But if we're mid discussion and the time runs out that's fine, it's my choice how much longer I carry on talking for. All I would ask is that you respect my time and use it to your advantage.
